The new Ortles Alpine Merino Women’s Jacket is named after one of the most majestic mountains in the Eastern Alps. It’s a lightweight, breathable hybrid fleece midlayer designed for ski mountaineering and alpine mountaineering.The main fabric is an Alpine Merino thermal knit fleece . Its principal benefits are that it’s warm, fast drying and pleasant to wear. We add extra elastane content to provide 4-way mechanical stretch comfort. The athletic fit is based on a bodymapped design that places specific levels of insulation at different parts of the body. In addition, the robust and wind-resistant Durastretch overlay with PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish at the front and shoulders and high collar provide extra weather protection.Its ergonomic design also supports good freedom of movement. The shoulders and sleeves are made from a tougher fabric to protect against tears, scuffs and abrasion. The collar has a soft inner lining for increased comfort.
